Purebrand is a platform that replaces star ratings with live video conversations between future customers and verified past customers, called 360 reviews. Businesses install it to convert shoppers with real proof, and every recorded conversation becomes structured intelligence for product, support, UX, and sales teams.
What is a 360 review?
A 360 review is a live video conversation between someone considering a purchase and a verified past customer who already made it. Unlike a star rating, it can be questioned, steered, and seen, with the product in a real home or office. It is a pre-purchase customer conversation, not the HR 360-degree performance review.
How is this different from star ratings or review widgets?
Ratings are anonymous, unverifiable, and frozen at the moment of delivery. A Purebrand host is tied to a verified real transaction and answers questions live on video, months or years into owning the product. One is a number a stranger left; the other is a witness.
Who is the person on the call, and are they paid?
Every host is a past customer tied to a verified real transaction with that business; no purchase record, no hosting. Hosts are compensated for completed calls, not for positive ones, and that compensation is disclosed per FTC guidance.

What happens when I install the Purebrand app on my Shopify store?
One click installs it from the Shopify App Store. Your SKUs and customer list sync automatically, a Talk to a Real Customer button appears on your store, and Purebrand runs the email campaigns that invite your past buyers to become paid hosts. You do not build anything.
What is a one-to-many live session?
One verified customer hosts a live session on your store for as many guests as want to join, like live shopping but with a provable owner on camera. Every guest is linked to the host, and when a guest converts, the host is compensated. Purebrand handles tracking, attribution, and payouts or store credit.
What does Purebrand cost?
Product stores start free and pay 3% of attributed revenue: sales that provably started on a Purebrand call and converted within 14 days. Service businesses pay per completed call in published tiers, with flat compliant fees for regulated industries. If a sale did not start on a call, Purebrand charges nothing on it.
Is host compensation included in Purebrand's fee?
No. Host rewards are separate and set entirely by the store: cash, store credit, or gift cards, at whatever rate the store chooses, or none at all. In Purebrand's beta, stores paid hosts about $37 per meeting on average, against $546.9K in attributed revenue.
What counts as an attributed sale?
A demo was scheduled, the call connected and was recorded past the 10 minute minimum, and the buyer converted within 14 days. No-shows and short drops cost nothing.
What intelligence does Purebrand extract from calls?
Every recorded call is transcribed and analyzed: sentiment on both sides, pros and cons, issue counts per SKU, and buyer objections. Findings route to the right team, so a recurring squeaky hinge reaches R and D, a warranty complaint opens a support ticket, and website friction lands with UX.

What stops a host from trashing my product?
Nothing, and that is the point: hosts are paid for completed calls, not positive ones, which is why buyers believe them. In Purebrand's beta, honest conversations converted at about 19 percent, and the criticism that does surface routes to your product team instead of sitting in a public review.

How much do Purebrand hosts make?
In Purebrand's two-year beta, hosts earned about $37 per meeting on average, with rates set by each store. In one-to-many sessions, hosts are also compensated when guests linked to them convert. The reward method is the store's choice: cash, store credit, or gift cards, tracked in the host dashboard and mobile app.
How do I become a host?
Buy something, be findable: stores invite their own past customers, or you can apply at purebrand.io/hosts with what you own. After your purchase is verified, you take calls from the Purebrand app on iOS or Android, or from the web dashboard.
Trust and privacy
Are calls recorded, and do both sides know?
Yes. Recording consent is built into the call flow itself; both parties confirm before video starts and the notice is on screen. If either declines, the call does not happen.
What does Purebrand store, and can I delete my data?
Purebrand stores recordings, transcripts, and the structured analysis derived from them, scoped to the business they belong to. Deletion rights are honored under the CCPA and GDPR, and Purebrand does not sell personal data.
